I am terribly busy for the past few months and will still be in the upcoming months even though it's friggin' summertime. I don't know why I got into this situation but I'm determined to finish everything I need to do. So I apologize to my 10 loyal readers (stats according to sitemeter) for not updating my blog often. I will try to update this as often as I can next month. Gawd, senior year is soo close! Thesis, requirements, finals, graduation, internship, etc. starts haunting me every night. I think I'm gonna faint.. srsly.
Fast and Furious is TOTALLY OUT!
and I'm so gonna be watching this VERY SOON... even if the reviews says it's ROTTEN. :)

The Luckiest Night Evah!
My dearest classmates (I will not use the airheads term for now because of the good deed they've done to me) surprised me with a cake and a gift last night. Yeah, right! They have given me a surprise birthday treat. It was kinda heartwarming because my birthday was a few days ago (and I was effingly absent!) but they really found a way to surprise me. It was such a pleasant surprise!
I knew it right then and there that something fishy's going on because of the constant SMS messages and missed calls of Lois (formerly known as Angelina of the now defunct "Brangelina") and Citrus. Since I was in the library and I have no available prepaid credits, I haven't replied to their messages. There were then asking where I was that time and will I go to class. I said yes and I was in the library because I was busy answering our bring home exam. I then saw Citrus in the library and noticed that he's indeed looking for me and when we met, he struggled to put up a straight face. Tintin was also acting weird because she wants me to hurry up answering my exam because she wants me to accompany her downstairs for she has someone to meet up with. I never knew that they were in a scheme together to surprise me.
So when we finally arrived in the room, Lois appeared out of nowhere and was carrying a cake. I must admit that I was totally surprised and grateful for what they have done for me. They all sang the "Happy Birthday" song and made me blow the candles. I was planning to share the cake to everyone in the class but unfortunately, there were no utensils around. Oh well, maybe I'll just treat them next time (PROMISE!).
The other good thing that happened to me last night was that I was informed by our professor that I was one of the academic achievers for this school year and I would be accepting an award this Wednesday. It then made me so happy because I'd be receiving the same award for two school years straight. I hope that I would still be receiving an award in my senior year. Having this recognition insured me that I'd be an academic scholar again next school year! Yipee!
So I can extremely say that I just had my luckiest night ever eventhough I got wet and soiled my pants and shoes while going home (Fuck that rain that flooded our streets! Ugh!). And with that, I would like to thank again my dearest classmates especially Lois and Clark, Tintin, Citrus, and to everyone who greeted me on my birthday.
"Thank you so, so much!" ---> (channeling a Marion Cottilard congratulatory line)
They know they really love (to hate) me,

March 18, 2009
Today's my effing birthday.
I'm supposed to have a jovial disposition today but sadly, I'm not.
Maybe I've just grown tired of birthday celebrations.
Or maybe, just maybe, I'm not happy because I'm effingly broke, effingly still single, and effingly lost in momentum.
I'm procrastinating a lot these days. I don't feel well. I wear a "happy mask" while I'm in public so no one would know what I truly feel.
I suck. I suck at everything.
Ugh! I am so effing depressed.
Oh well...
Happy Birthday to me.
Happy 1st Blogoversary!
I was so effing busy this past few weeks that I haven't noticed that my blog would be turning 1 this March! I kinda took a leave of absence to blogging for a while because FINALS is near and I need to make sure that I've submitted all the requirements, study the topics included in the exam, and of course, attend classses regularly. Maybe I'll go back to full-time blogging after two weeks.
Well anyway, my blog just turned 1! Yipee! I never thought that my blog would stay this long. I just get an average of 15 visits a day and with that, I would like to thank my dear 15 readers for visiting and reading my effed-up sentiments. I know that I rarely update my blog because I am effingly busy and writer's block seems to visit me often but you have been there to show your undying support. You have painstakingly read my no-sense gossips and what-nots and I truly appreciate that.
Oh well, time really goes by fast. I wish I could throw a contest to my dear 15 readers but unfortunately, I haven't earned some money thru my blog recently. My Alexa rank sank from 1,000,000 to 4,000,000 and I still didn't made it through rank 1 in Google Pagerank. It really is not a good thing to celebrate now but since I'm an eternal optimist, I am sure that my blog will be oh-so-popular that people can't stand not reading my blog for a day. Hehe! To my dear 15 readers, THANK YOU SO MUCH and I hope you'll continue reading my sentiments, ridiculous reviews, and grisly gossips. Like what I've said last January, I promise to take this blog into another level and this year would be as steamy as a hot piping coffee.
HAPPY 1ST BLOGOVERSARY!

Slumdog Millionaire and My Oscar Sentiments
Okay. So I might be already late in posting an Oscar-related post (what with the millions of entertainment blogs out there!) but I would still like to post this one.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences finally awarded Slumdog Millionaire as the Best Picture yesterday at the grand Kodak
Theatre. They have bagged eight awards namely the Best Picture and Best Director. What is fascinating though is that the kids in the movie were also present in the evening. They must have been very delighted when they've been picked up by the Slumdog crew from the slums in Mumbai (I'm talking 'bout the two kids who are real-life slumdogs). According to one article, Boyle said that the Slumdog team had been debating long and hard as to whether bring the kids in the show's awards-season run. To quote Danny Boyle,
"We were very concerned about it distorting their lives. They're young. They should stay in school…But then somebody said to us, look, they will put it in their own memory bank…and they will find a place for it in their own memory bank, and you should not deny it to them."Well, with the looks of those kids last night, I can definitely say that they have a lot to put in their memory bank! Lucky kids.
For the speeches, I most admired that of Kate Winslet's. She had said that she'd be lying if she haven't made a version of the speech (acceptance speech, that is) when she was still a young girl in the bathroom and the Oscar trophy would be a shampoo bottle. Her childhood memory is somewhat similar to me. It made me remember the time when I've also made an acceptance speech for being the best actor or director when I was still a kid although I must say that it was not for the Oscars (I have no idea about the Oscars yet). I've always dreamed of being an actor or director when I was still young. I used to make a mock movie set with my robots and trucks and toys. I love motion picture arts and acting that's why I took up Political Science.
And now that I'm of legal age and in a verge of a career crisis, I still want to achieve one of my wildest dreams. I want to win an Oscar. May it be for best actor, best director, best screenplay, or whatever it is. Now that I'm finally over with my Deep Procrastination period, I am totally psyched to achieve this wildest dream of mine. I need to finish this course before venturing on film school or in any other endeavour I am deeply passionate with. I am eyeing on IAFT in Mactan, Cebu. Gawsh! Maybe I could be the slumdog millionaire the world's been looking for. Law of Attraction much? Hehe!
Oscars, here I come!
